Privacy Policy

Effective: 1 April 2026 ยท Last updated: 30 April 2026 (v1.1 release)

โœ… The short version: We don't track your browsing. We only read public data on Amazon.in / Flipkart pages you're already viewing. We never sell, share, or rent your data. Review texts sent to AI are processed and immediately discarded.

1. Who we are

SellerScope India is operated by Sarvadhi Digital Solutions Pvt Ltd, registered in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. For privacy questions email [email protected].

2. What data we collect

2.1 Account data

2.2 Marketplace product data

When you open an Amazon.in or Flipkart product page, our content script reads publicly visible fields from that page's DOM:

This data is sent to our backend so we can return analysis (sales estimates, competition scores). Most of it is not stored โ€” it's used in-memory for the response. We do not store full DOM snapshots or your browsing history. The only product fields we persist are the trend points described in ยง2.5 below.

2.3 Review text (Pro plan only, processed not stored)

If you use the AI Review Insights feature, the extension sends up to 50 recent review texts from the page to our backend, which forwards them to Google Gemini (or OpenAI) for analysis. The result (top complaints, praises, opportunity statement) is cached for 7 days per ASIN. Original review texts are immediately discarded after processing.

2.4 Usage data (anonymous, aggregate)

We do not log which specific products you research.

2.5 Crowdsourced trend data (new in v1.1)

To power the BSR History and price-trend charts, when you view a product we record a single, deduplicated data point per ASIN every 6 hours containing:

This data is aggregated across all SellerScope users and is not linked to your email, license key, or device fingerprint when stored. It powers the trend charts everyone in the community can see for that ASIN. If two users view the same ASIN within 6 hours, only one snapshot is kept. Trend points are retained for 365 days; older points are aggregated into weekly averages.

You cannot be re-identified from this data. If you'd prefer not to contribute to the crowdsource at all, email [email protected] and we'll flag your license to skip the recording call.

2.6 Cross-marketplace matching (new in v1.1)

The Flipkart Cross-Check feature (Pro plan) sends the current product's title and top keywords to our backend so we can search for matching Flipkart listings. The query and matched results are not stored โ€” they are used only to compute the response and then discarded. We do not log which products you cross-check.

2.7 Supplier search (new in v1.1)

The IndiaMart Supplier Finder sends the product category or keyword you searched for to our backend. We fetch matching suppliers from publicly listed IndiaMart pages and cache results for 7 days per keyword to keep the feature fast and avoid hammering IndiaMart's servers. The cache is keyed by search term only and is shared across users โ€” it is not associated with your account.

2.8 Q-commerce demand queries (new in v1.1)

The Q-Commerce panel sends a product name / category to our backend, which queries Blinkit, Zepto, and Instamart's publicly available availability and price endpoints. Results are cached for 1 hour per query, shared across users, and not linked to your account.

2.9 Magic-link login tokens (new in v1.1)

When you request a login link from the web account dashboard, we generate a one-time token (valid 15 minutes), store only its SHA-256 hash, and email the link to you. Tokens are single-use and invalidated immediately on use or expiry. We log a one-way hash of your IP address with each request to prevent abuse.

2.10 Feedback submissions

If you submit the website feedback form, we store the message, your name & email, and basic metadata (browser user-agent, a one-way hash of your IP) so we can reply and prevent spam. Feedback is forwarded to our support inbox and retained for 24 months. We never share it.
